The ideal home for species like barnacles, starfishes, crab, fish, and shellfish matches habitat island’s rocky shoreline with the ebb and flow of tide.
Habitat island also creates a sanctuary for birds in the trees or bushes, when the tides get high, as shown in the photos below.
